Arvanitia Nafplion. Perhaps one of the most beautiful and most picturesque beaches of Greece from above.

Well hidden beneath Acronafplia and Palamidi lies a small, yet splendidly beautiful beach.

The name of, Arvanitia!

The “Phantom of Nafplion”, the famous and abandoned Xenia, stands on the top of the hill and gives it even a touch of beauty, making the landscape even more beautiful and unique.

To the right and at the end of the beach still a deserted diamond stands and this half-ruined adding this one more piece in the unique beautiful landscape of the area.

Arvanitia Beach

Arvanitia: The most popular beach of Nafplion

There is no better than living in a city that lives and breathes 12 months a year, having everything in a breathtaking distance. Imagine a summer setting: you finish the job and take your car in 1.5 hours from the center of Athens you are in the terrain of Arvanitia. And then for coffee and chocolate in the beautiful alleys of the old town of Nafplion. Oh, no, there is no better!

Here you find everything

This is the only reason why the beach of Arvanitia is the most popular in Nafplio. Just below Palamidi, specifically below the Themistocles bastion, you will give your own “battles” with the sea bugs. Its size does not say much (just 200 meters) but its waters are clean and indeed awarded a Blue Flag.

The favorite beach of the inhabitants of Nafplio will become your favorite!

Did you know?

According to the legend: The area took its name from the massacre of the Albanian mercenaries in 1779. They say that Captain Pasha raised them in Palamidi and deceived them into the sea.

In fact: From the time of the Venetian occupation, they lived in the Albanian area, which gave it the name Arvanitia.
